Name that girl

Not sure what gave it away for hanks71440, but for me it was the "reservoir dogs" comment and then about 3 or 4 seconds looking at her photo and I KNEW it was PINK! She still looks very much the same, other than the hair!

Always liked her too.

Just finished reading the rest of your post #757 with the original clues and photo. You stated "the picture won't get you there", "unless you cheat and google it". Well, as I said before, one look at that photo and I knew it was her.

I know, its kinda weird some people you just know right off, and others its like I should know who that is but no name comes to mind. :realcrazy:

The one word name clue did it for me, I was going to confirm my guess and then I scrolled down and I didn't need to. It was answered

Attained age 70 this year.

Ivy-league educated, one of the most accomplished people in her profession. Though she holds what could be considered a "record for failures" in a way, her many industry successes don't seen to diminish her popular appeal one bit.

Many may not recall it, but how she stood by a Shakespearan-colleague who became became the love of her life is a very poignant story.

Young "Mary Louise" has come a long way from her NJ roots and this grade school photo. Though i know who she is, i could not recognize her from this picture.

The clues are a little vague to try to make this one a little harder -- but some of you folks are good at this by now :)

can you regale us with how you got her hanks71440?

Lucky guess....I knew she was from Pennsylvannia because of a talkshow she was on where she mentioned it. Also from one of the clue's above - androgynous hair styles, big (like known worldwide) enough now to be known by a colorful, one-word. I was almost gonna say Cindy Lauper but duh, one word and 40 years old. It wasn't Cindy. I was gonna pick Lady Gaga. Just a lucky guess.

#765. Meryl Streep.

21 Oscar nominations is a record. vassar, Yale, and superstardom. read here for all the other stuff:

If interested, check out the story of her and John Cazale ("Fredo" in the Godfather) before he died.

First time I saw her was in the 70s mini-series called “Holocaust” I think. She played James Woods’ wife and provided, um, favors to camp guards to save her husband. The best she ever looked IMO.

For the younger crowd. Got this lady from my kids.

Age 37 now.

Movie and TV Actor (voice work too) and model. Apparently a Maxim favorite and various other "cheesecake" publications. Does serious stuff as well, buncha Hallmark channel "message" movies it seems.

I remember her only for one thing ... a 1998 movie adaption (with a Detroit pizza connection) of a '60's TV series I watched religiously about a "Swiss" family wandering around in the dark.

I did NOT know who she was all grown up. I have definitely seen her but could not make the connection to the 13 year old kid below.

Got her start in the chorus line as a Ziegfeld Girl. Later starred in many movies, including one of the coolest “film noir” movies. Also made it to TV.

#772 Lacey Chabert.

Lost in Space rebooot. One of Mike Illitch (Little Caesars Pizza founder) sons produced that movie. Lacey played Penny ... if you enlarged the photo you would see "Jupiter Two" on left side of her jacket.
