What did you do to your C-body today....

Changed oil, replaced left shock, pack left wheel bearing and hit every zerk with grease gun. Found a loose bolt on steering box but I am out of time for today.

Hooked up my exhaust extension so I can do some tuning this winter without opening my garage door.
It also seems to bring my garage up to temperature pretty quickly.
I may need some venting, but pretty good so far. At least I am not getting sleepy yet.

First started, choke on, hi idle step. When warm it is clear.

I think my battery I bought in 2007 when I started the restoration is starting to go. Probably acceptable life considering used it to start the car when I went to get it and then sat in my garage for 12 years. Every once in a while I would charge it. I need to do some checking to see if my starter is dragging too much or if my battery. Battery is showing 12.77 volts and dropping down to 12.3 volts with the lights on.
When I crank it drops to 8 volts.
Now I need to decide if I get a good
group 24 that I can put these caps and sticker on (Battery $140 plus $25 for the kit) just need to find the right looking battery. Most group 24’s have the raised surface for the caps.
Or buck up and get the OEM original style that is mostly correct $260?

Very neat idea....more info and pics please of that system.

I used a 3” exhaust port. Basically need a large hole saw to cut a hole into your door and bolt it in. I am using a 3” flex pipe that fits tightly inside. I may try a 2–1/2” flex that goes all the way through. As you can see I get a black drip from the condensation. My doors are insulated so I put an insulation plug on the inside when not in use.

Cool Rig.. does the carbon come off the door post tune?

It does wipe off. But a pipe all the way through would be better.

I guess if you are in a really bad mood you park the car outside and run the exhaust through the door into the garage ,start her up and stand inside the garage.

So how, or what do you use to attach to your exhaust pipe?
I had one that used a rubber hose that fit over the exhaust pipe and had a foam gasket to help seal it to the pipe. Didn't work so well on duals so had to buy a wye hose setup. Have since moved and didn't take the thru door setup.

You don't have one of these do you? Just checking.

Started the NY'er up for about 30 minutes and put the "Ironshield" car cover on her.

I put the Cicada into storage with my Polaras. :(

But it ran well on the way over, cylinder(s) out and all.

Played around with testing my battery cleaning and re tightening my connections to the starter. I think it is right on the edge. Battery is 12 years old. Had to start it with the battery charger connected.
Any way I took a video of it running in the garage with the tail pipe outside. Gives a different sound and you can pick up any ticking.
