This Craigslist ad was first noted on FCBO this past June. At the time, the asking price was $120 for 4 wheels and 4 trim rings. The price is now down to $60 for all.

There appear to be 2, maybe 3 decent wheels in the lot. 2 of 4 trim rings are decent. Wheels are located in Tonawanda NY (near Buffalo). I inquired, but the seller won't ship. Is there anyone who would like to have these for the price of a drive and $60?

The seller doesn't have a working phone and has yet to provide his address. Typical craigslist.

I have a decent set on each car and another marginal set like those for sale in storage so I don't need another set. Nick if you want to look at the spare set PM me.

Click on the "Reply" button and send him an email asking for his phone number or what ever.

I did. After providing my phone#, with a message that: "I can stop by today", his entire reply was:
"broken phone, use email, steve"

So, I asked for his address, but never heard back.

Who knows if he is scared of you or not. I usually tell them we can meet at a location safe to both parties and well as asking what method of payment do they prefer.

These wheels were advertised for several months, at a very reasonable price, in a large city with automotive factories, loads of car shows, and lots of car enthusiasts, plus several cities and millions of people nearby. The seller has no phone, is difficult to communicate with, doesn't want anyone to know where he lives, and his ad doesn't indicate that these wheels are that great.

As it turns out I ended up getting these wheels as a potential future mod for my Newport. They may be useful if I ever do a disk brake upgrade. I used the email link in the craigslist ad to contact Steve, the seller, and it worked very well. He is a man of few words in the emails, but we had a very nice visit when I picked them up. He's a good guy who, like the rest of us, is just trying to get by.

Great deal for these wheels. I pieced mine together from 5 or 6 different people, wheels from one gentleman, center cap from another gentleman etc. I have about $350.00 into the wheels and tires on mine. I switch it up, back and forth between the stock wire wheel/fender skirt look to the road wheel look.
