Next step before winter slumber is polish and install the trim.

Well the rear glass is back in the car!!
New trim clips and Bill prepped thee mating surface for the good old fashioned buytl on waxed paper.

Rear window got cleaned up and old butyl removed and suction cups put on for the installation..Using a heat gun,Bill softened the roll of butyl and applied it to the glass..

Using a heat gun,the roll of butyl was warmed up to get soft and rolled onto the glass...

Spacers installed at the bottom,we started to press really hard on the glass to seal the hole..

Once Bill was happy with the placement of the glass he taped the edges and caulked the perimeter of the rear window channel..

Got a lot done the past two days!
Trim is last to get polished and installed.
I have a lot more stuff planned for this car but will have to wait for spring,though.

Thanks for the updates and details, going to do this on my 69 300 soon. What did Bill use for adhesive on the top?

Not exactly sure and I will ask him. All I know it takes 30 minutes for it to get tacky and set quickly after that. Once both the roof and top was sprayed time was of the essence..

Today we moved the car from the the workshop to the storage area of the building.
Maggie got to drive her car for the first time since she bought it!!
A spin around the block just before winter storage..
