Nice looking Newport. Good upgrades. Good luck with selling it!!
In Canada at the time it was called a Windsor. Named after the city where the car was built in Ontario across the water from Detroit.
There will be some minor trim differences both interior and exterior wise compared to the US Newport.
There were import tariffs still be taxed against US cars imported to Canada up until the Autopact agreement was signed in 1965.
Newport was not available in Canada until 1967. FYI the Windsor nameplate was last run in 1966.

Did you have to grind alot of metal out to get the 14 inch rims to fit over the scarebird set up? I was told by scarebird that 14s would not work with mine. Nice car. Good luck with sale

If you want to keep the 14s so you can use the hupcaps the you want to look for 14in 73 dart disc brake wheels. That's what I was told

I stand corrected. Guess I'm just so used to calling them Newports. Thanks for setting me straight.

Nope, the only ones that would rub are 14" rims from a drum brake car, as those tapered in at the back.
