Ford vs Ferrari

A blast of a movie in my opinion.
Great racing scenes but the personal stories really make it interesting.
The girlfriend enjoyed this one even more than the F1 movie Rush.
Probably see it again over the holidays. (Coming events didn't look very promising)

I’m going to see if my dad wants to see it in the theater.

He should enjoy it Matt.
Ford/GM were the enemy back in those days but ”The Deuce” was bigger than life. He was always in the news due to his personal life and he married Christina right in the middle of this race program. The Ford family was followed in this town like the world followed the Kennedys.

Go see this movie. Great on big screen. I have not been in a movie theater in probably 5 years and another 5 before that. I would consider going again before it leaves the theater.
The story is great and well known. Ken's story is a great.

I wholeheartedly agree! Saw it yesterday with my wife and we took my parents. We all loved it!
And who knew theaters only had 8 rows of recliners that are more comfortable than anything I have in my home???

I hate to derail this, but it's on my list of movies to watch over the Holidays, and we just saw "The Art of Racing in the Rain." That was a great movie!

My wife and I both read the book and saw the movie. One of the few times the movie was as good as the book.

Headed out to see it this afternoon!
My right foot was awfully itchy after watching this movie.
Just drove through W.V. on I-77 this morning.
I was channeling Ken Miles through some of these curves!

'Till you got stalled by the cash boxes aye. I made a run to Ohio on the last day of June this year. Took an hour and 1/2 to get thru' the first one you hit North of Beckley, SHESH. Jer

I will go to see this soon. I thought Matt Damon was good in rounders, but he wasn't as good since Team America!?

pssst.......EZ-Pass
Beautiful day for a “Perfect Lap”.

Just got back and it was a great movie! What I didn't realize was that the story was going to be more about Ken Miles rather than Shelby.

Yah that kinda cheapened it for me. Where were the likes of Lloyd Ruby or Dan Gurney. Ken only won as Dan pushed his car a 1/4 mile to get across the line. I guess they figure they’ll make a Dan Gurney movie some day so what the heck. Shoulda called it Ken v Beebe Lol!!!

If I’m not mistaken the United States was the only place that this movie was released as Ford versus Ferrari. Everywhere else it was called Le Man 66 which it indeed was the story of.

You were lucky RT. Even the EZ-Pass lanes were snarled up that day. I don't run that way too often anymore but the time before this time the ransom for passage was 3 quarters at each cash box This past June 30th it was 4 Washingtonz each time and it's not been more then 6-7 yearz. WTH? My retirement goes up ah bit every November and I still can not keep up with that hi-way robbery % SHISH. And since 9-11 it ain't fun(more like ah PITA) to get airborne anymore either, Jer
