Might just be the optics, but don't the forward tubes in the photo look bigger than the rest?

Yep, the front tubes are definitely larger diameter, with the smaller tubes spliced into it. Kind of a neat design, not sure if that's the best way to go about things, "real world wise". Then again these are not for a typical car. Will these bolt on to my '70 Chrysler without modifying the car?
