Some more classic pictures

These pictures...remind me SO much of pictures that I should have somewhere.

So many are just exactly what I remember from when I grew up...or so similar that it's ....well...just plain weird..but in a nice way.

WHERE ARE THOSE PICTURES I REMEMBER? :)

That Tucker '48 picture is gold.

Somewhere I have a picture of my grandpa holding a cloth Tucker banner he bought at auction....have to dig it up.

Dad almost went to work for Preston Tucker. He liked Tucker but he felt the fix was in against the Tucker already. He worked for Kaiser Frasier at the time. He stayed with KF till he moved to Chrysler in 53. Dad worked for Graham Paige and Kaiser before Chrysler. Guy that hired him ”hoped he had better luck here”. Twenty six years later he retired under Lido’s watch.

Taken just last week at the Daytona Car show.
Old school pin striping you don’t see much anymore.
This is a gorgeous 36 Ford roadster. The striping outstanding.
(edit: I wish I had my zoom lens that day to better frame this shot. I backed up as far as I could.)
