Looking to buy a 90 degree fitting, 3/8 pipe x 5/8 male flare end.
Notice the rounded corner of the fitting in the pics.
The new stuff is not the same!!!

Also need barb end brass hose couplers, 3/8 and 5/8 sizes.

PM me here. Thanks!

Those are called "Weatherhead" fittings, most heavy duty truck parts suppliers have all kinds of sizes of them.
If that helps....

Weatherhead is the brand name.
Eaton bought them out in 2002.

The new stuff has been cheapened up, doesn’t look like the part I need for the resto.

Home Depot sells stuff for homes, you need to find automotive and industrial supply. Look in a McMaster-Carr catolog, you'll likey find some. I found examples on the 'net quite easily. I'll have a look in my stash of brass fittings, as i may have some 90's, but I won't likey have the hose connection fitting. HTH, Lefty71

As I said... Go to a Heavy Duty Truck Shop or Parts supplier. They will have the real Weatherhead fittings. Or ask Stubbs for advice finding them.

Are the pics you posted up of the parts in your possession? If they are why not re-use them?

Yes, they are the original parts.... BUT I need ONE more 90 degree fitting and
2 of the 3/8 hose ends and 2 of the 5/8 hose ends.

At least I know exactly what I'm searching for.

I, we, "Snapon"...sell sockets specifically designed for "Weatherhead" fittings. That way you don't mangle them. Sold a few here and there. Of course to heavy duty equipment mechanics. I even sold an entire set to one guy. Worked on dozers, excavators etc.
Real pro. Had to have the best of everything, and of course I was glad to oblige him. :D

Being an old trucker I have a few cans of misc brass fittings...;) I will dig through them and see if I can find anything that matches what you need.

I did'nt have anything quite like that. I have another place to look today....

Was asked for a few pics with a scale in them.
Also, there are numbers on the hose ends--
3/8 2462-88
5/8 2462-1010

I appreciate you guys taking the time to look. Thanks!!

Checked a local heavy duty truck repair facility.
All they had was the new stuff.

They suggested a VERY old hardware store in a small town! And also said, "Good Luck!"

I can appreciate wanting to use correct parts there has been many a time when I could have used just a cheap modern bolt and washer and saved myself a lot of time and hassle but then the repair/upgrade or just basic aesthetics of the work done would not be right to me. Usually I end up rummaging through my bins of misc hardware, or purchase the best piece I can find to make things "right".
