I have been struggling to find a garage to store this in and cant stand seeing it stay outside under a cover so I decided to see if I can pass it along to someone who can give it a proper home. To rent a garage here in North NJ it averages about $200/month. My other 70 Newport coupe occupies the only garage space I have at my house. It isn't going anywhere.

On to the car.
Here is the Feebay link I have the car listed under.

A Newlife for the Newport

If anyone here is interested in her I am willing to give a better price. I want to ensure it goes to a good home. I can take additional picture requests as soon as the weather clears up here.

So sorry to hear this kingbowl.:(. I think this is a car for @c-barge, considering he has one exactly like it.:) Best of luck with the sale!

If I can find an affordable garage I will keep it but if I cant I would love for another C body enthusiast to take care of her. I could then concentrate on my other 70 Newport which has been sleeping and is over due for a formal introduction here.

I would love to give her a loving home... Except I wouldn’t be able to give her a garage space. And I’d probably daily drive her a good amount. And something tells me that’s not what you want...

Wow, nice car! Shouldn’t last too long I would think. Best of luck finding a new home for it.

I like that you aren't in a snow state! Nothing wrong with daily driving a C .

Being in North Jersey as well, about 12 miles north of you, I know how expensive winter storage can be, if you can find it. Keeping a classic car outside with all the rain and snow we get, just doesn't make sense. Too bad you have to sell it, that car looks nice. I don't think you'll have trouble selling it.

Can't buy one of those little car ports with sides for cheap, and put it up over where the car sits? Be a few hundred dollars but make up more than the difference after a few months.

I immediately thought of this option too but the suburb that I live in does not allow them in front driveways. I was even thinking of buying a small cheap parcel of land in the nearby country to do this but I wouldn't have the peace of mind keeping a close eye on it. I wish I could build a fleet of C bodies but storing them here in NJ affordably is the biggest conflict.

You mentioned giving a better price to the people here. What would that price be? Thanks,
Tim

I do not have a car like this....but one can dream,LOL!

I'm talking about the other C-barge with the convertible version of this exact car. I can never remember whose name is whose. Damn it I hate having people on here with the same name. I'm talking about this C-barge. Thanks to cantflip's son for taking the picture, and for cantflip posting it in the Carlisle tread.
