I’m looking for good used ZIEBART plugs from the mid 60’s thru 1975.

I’ll post a photo of the exact plug need very soon.

I know some guys here pick that kind of stuff when they go “yarding”.

They are hard to find in my area as ZIEBART wasn’t used much.

THANK YOU!!!

This is the style of plug I’m looking for.

I need approximately 12-16 plugs.

I’ll take any amount that ya’ll can find,..if there are any out there.

Many Thanks.

I know I have had parts cars with ziebart plugs in them in the past, don't recall ever seeing them with that logo, nor can I say I ever thought of grabbing them. But will try and keep you in mind when looking for stuff.

I’m pretty sure my ZIEBART plugs were yellow in color, and they have just aged.

Some Porsche “PCA club” members have been helpful providing photos and examples for me.

I’ll likely just end up making them myself. But I’d love to use originals if possible.

Thanks for all the comments and advise.

My 75 NYB has them, they are yellow as well.. I remember Zbart way back when. Hope your search is successful..

There was a Ziebart shop next to the body shop I worked at in Mount Kisco NY in the late 70's. We fixed their screwups. And there were many. The most common one was drilling all the way through the outer panel. They also had a bad habit of taking everything out of the trunk and placing it on the roof. Then they would drive off and it would all slide off scratching the roof. The other issue was all the gooey black tar would drip out overnight all over the floor. And all the plugs were yellow then.

Do they HAVE to ACTUALLY be Ziebart plugs? You give no size of the hole, so you make it a lot harder to help find what your looking for! If not, then the internet is a beautiful thing when used right! Good Luck

Again, like the heater duct hose thread, this is someone who knows how to use the internet, and chose to ask fellow forum members if they had the specific part. WTF is so hard to comprehend about that?

I just asked if they have to be Zeibart plugs, WHAT'S SO HARD FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT THAT? At least I gave him some leads, that's a hell of lot more then what you've done!

I remember the plugs being yellow as well. The company appears to still be in business, have you tried them directly?

And that's why I asked the question to him! And it appears that he can't find any by his 2nd post!

It appears that there aren't very many[if any] that are out there! I don't know what he's searched for or what he really wants, does anybody?? What's the OP have to say about alternatives in all this mess? Speak up Fury, we're waiting!
