Well, we sold our house with ample car space and down sized to a much smaller place so the future of my beloved 66 NY was up in the air. For a while I had the car stowed at work in a trailer then the business was sold and moved out of state. I had been testing the water's on Craig's but had been dealing with loosers and low ballers when a call came in from a "local" guy very keen on seeing the car asap. Turns out he was a Swedish national intent on shipping the New Yorker back to Sweden where there is a demand for these rare, beautiful barges. So my New Yorker is now presumable sailing around the mean streets of Sweden. Aside from the appliances we drive daily I am currently car-less.

My 68 sport fury went to Germany last summer. Had it for sale at a local swap meet. A young couple looked it over, heard it run and paid cash on the spot.
They arranged for all the trucking and all I had to do was meet the hauler at the end of my driveway with it.
In a way I hated to see it shipped overseas, but then again, they need cool cars too!!

There are many C-Bodys in the Old world !
Always have a few at my monthly Mopars & Coffee Meeting in southern Germany nearby Stuttgart.

These C-bodies might work in Sweden, but I can tell you that they'd never be able to drive around Ireland! I read an article about some youngsters up there in Sweden or Norway or Finland, and they are obsessed with the big Detroit cars from the 1960s. They cruise them like we do here at Woodward, and up there the passengers are allowed to drink beer in the car, so long as the driver isn't drinking. How they afford this I have no idea...parts have to come from the USA and the shipping can't be cheap. But it's nice to see the millenials enjoying the old cars.
