Here's some that someone took a bath on.

Clown Bike Abortion.

2013 - Scion-FRSL3 - Lot-J237
Auctioneer had to go down to 3k to start, kept saying 120 grand 'Invested'
Reserve went off in the 30k range, I didn't catch the hammer but it rolled off after 35k.

Buyer pays 10% fee BUT, there is a $1000 minimum. I hope the Caddy buyer doesn't think the vig is $400.

What idiot would dump $120k into that POS? Or another better question would be, who would believe you could EVEN dump $120k into a POS like that!

Naa the caddy didn't sell, like I said they hammered it at 4k and rolled it off quick with the auctioneer saying "was looking for 10 thousand", so they knew it was going nowhere.

$1000 minimum? That sounds like a racket if I ever heard of one. No big deal on a high end car, but I wouldn't shell that out. I couldn't afford an auction car, not sure I'd buy, even if I could. It would have to be some unique one of one car.

Plus the Registration fees, which aren't to bad for this auction I've seen higher (BJ?)

STANDARD BIDDER $200
GOLD BIDDER $500
* The registration fee is $200 during auction. If you register before the day of the auction, your cost is $150.
‡ Offers may vary by auction.

Before mecum got big it used to be free to bid if you had the right credit card. Mbna back then.
We bought a car once, shouldn't have. We thought we had looked it over good and we walked by it as it was advancing in line to hear it run. Worth about half what we paid. Live and learn

10,000 for a 78 Caddy, WHAT? It truly is a beautiful car but I don't think those year Caddy's are sought after as much. Also 10K is kinda pushing it. The 4K is more realistic and probably the retail on it

I like the idea of forming a Harley and jap bike in 1 but that looks terrible. Way to ruin a Harley. Wonder what it runs down the 1/4 mile with that wheelie bar, or is that just for show?

From the looks of the rear tire I don't really think the bike was thought out for the strip thus the 'Clown' designation. The bar was just added for looks and peace of mind for the Ghetto Clown that was the original owner.

From what I have seen so far.....

A lot of sweet Forward Looks will be auctioned on Saturday!
