I was cleaning up some boxes of spare parts that came with my Polara and found this...

Gotta remember that Chryco Canada also accommodated the other cars from Pherd,GM and AMC since the dealer would take anything in on trade and service those cars.
I have a parts catalog listing all kinds of parts for them including flex rad hoses..

Thus the invention of the flex hose.
One size fits most.

There was a story in MCG awhile back about green parts boxes that had off makes parts for the service and body shops they were supplied by a 3rd party but in mopar supplied boxes.

No different today...Beck/Arnley is reboxed O.E parts for European and Asian cars.
Some AC Delco Professional parts line is reboxed Moog or TRW stuff like ball joints link kits, and tie rods.
I saw iot for myself at my work,LOL!

Prior to the middle 1970s, Mopar was seeking to be "ACDelco" or "Motorcraft" and sell parts for ALL vehicles. Not just Chrysler Corp vehicles (as the images above indicate). Which would include the "aftermarket Mopar" flex hoses pictured. "OEM Mopar" would be the correct items for restoration purposes.

Just some thoughts,

I have and had used NORS (New Old Replacement Stock) on the BoaB.
Green box,Chryco and Chrysler parts..Over 89 NOS/NORS parts on the car and have still more in totes in the basement,LOL!

I do remember a friend of mine ordering a new Fender for an older model at the GM dealership around 1990, what he got from their central stock warehouse was an ill Fitting aftermarket part with the GM-Opel sticker put over and of course the Price as stated in their NOS parts list.

By observation, Chrysler was in and out of the "Mopar-branded parts for all cars" every so often. The last time I remember was in the middle '70s when I was getting parts from a Mopar jobber warehouse. That's where the local, small town Chrysler dealer sent me to get a power brake booster for the '66 Newport in about 1971. They were a normal parts seller but were also a Mopar Jobber Warehouse. I think they were also doing Motorcraft items, too, but mainly Chrysler.

There were also Direct Connection Jobbers, too. A "status symbol" for those who raced Mopars back then, but only a few in each region. A "direct connection" to the world of Chrysler High Performance parts, at the "good price". Those jobbers ceased to exist toward the end of the 1980s, I believe, as more new car dealership parts departments came online as "Direct Connection" dealers?

Some neat times, back then!
