What's the funniest mod you've seen in a while???

Mercury Marine built the LT-5, Lotus designed engine that they put in the ZR 1 Corvettes back in the day so I guess it can't be all that bad.

Most if not all Police Chevy vehicles had Marine block in them because of the beating they took and LONG idle times..
 
They’re based on auto engines, but don’t they rotate in the opposite direction? Or would putting in an auto cam shaft make it fire in the right direction?
 
I think this is kind of funny, a marine engine in a chebbie? I guess the LS factory burned down eh? In the Mecum Auction today, 1970 CHEVROLET EL CAMINO SS Fuel-Injected 454 CI 4-Speed.

They have both versions, clockwise rotation and counter-clockwise rotation. Usually used in Inboard applications one spins normal and one spins in reverse. The cam is ground for the reverse firing order. Here is a little about them
