Originally a silver color car currently painted black. Black bucket interior. Rust free body underneath and inside. They only made 2,563 of these how many left and in silver? I have the original wheels and wheel covers. Roof needs repair along with minor front end. Was on the road 2.5 years ago. Have a lot more pics. Asking $3,000

Located at zip Wellsville, PA. 17365

The stuff dreams are made of. Steep considering the collision & rust repairs required.

@wizard we've been in contact via email. I'd like to thank you once again for contacting me. I really hope that someone steps up to safe this car.
Plus I really appreciate that you are careful who you're selling this car to and not letting those derby guys putting their hands on another c body:thankyou:

man could I ever use some bits and pieces off of this one, keep me in mind if it ever goes that route

No, its not going to get parted out and its not going to the derby pukes that keep trying to buy it from me by trying to hide their real reason they want to buy it. Their so obvious with the questions and things they ask. I don't even give them the time of day. I can easily pick them out by their profiles also.

Hello my name is BOB. I want to buy this but 1st I need to know if this thing has a good reverse gear as I need to back up really fast sometimes when I see other cars creeping toward me in the mud.
I plan to restore this to it's former glory I promise.

There are so many new members on here, that I've always thought they must be Derby guys. I have never seen any other forum with even a fraction of new members that this one does. I never read any of the welcomes so I could be wrong-hope so!

There are also a lot of folks that show up because they just inherited grandma's C Body and think they've hit the jackpot... they see what the values are, decide we're all idiots, and go bother the BJ or Mecum people about cash out.

The uninformed "investors" then come around to research their "bargain" and usually find they've overpaid and that a C Body with a "big block" isn't actually some rare and valuable "muscle car".

Then there's the "resto-mod" crowd that wants to know where they can get the super easy, diy, bolt on, air bag suspension... and think how cool an LS would be in one...

Sorry for the side track Wiz... GLWS

Not a bad starting point and $3K for a complete project car is a deal.

Wizard, I know you are hot on fixing the '71 300, but if it was me, I'd be fixing this one up in the original silver. It would be a stunning car for sure. GLWS.

That's one awesome looking car.
How about a pic of the tag?

I do find it interesting how opinions on "rust free" varies depending on where in the states a person is from.

In the Northeast, when large parts of the trunk and floors are not missing, it's rust free.

Wizard, what is the story on the Fastback cuda? My friend is looking for one.

I have it on face book for sale. Mostly that is where I can tell if its a derby guy who is trying to get it. They generally have pictures on their profiles of themselves in their past derby cars at the fairgrounds killing our cars. Then they always ask me how much is the car. I don't even reply to them. I did do a price drop on this car to $2500.00

Yeah, I would love to fix this car up and get it back in shape to its silver color and bring it all back to stock. Problem is just the time I don't have anymore. I used to live in the garage. Now, work is getting me and no time for anything hardly. I hang onto them and save them just hoping one day I can get back to the garage. Otherwise they would go to the crusher or derby guys would have gotten them.
