Any thoughts on the Hot Wheels, Led Zeppelin 5 car edition commemorating their album covers? The Austin Mini and the tour truck looks pretty good.

I like the Led Zeppelin hot wheels, I already see them for $100 plus for the 5 of them on Ebay. If I could get 5 for about $20 I would buy them. I like the van you pictured the best.

I see they are already coming down in price I like this one too.

Newer Generations should know about the music. Not T shirts, stickers or hot wheels. That is what has stood the test of time.

I personally don't think it's an odd combination. I used to buy Hot Wheels when I was a kid. I don't collect them but still have the ones I played with as a kid.

I am also a huge Zeppelin fan, so this old fart might actually buy a Hot Wheels car for the first time in a few decades. :)

I still have a few from my childhood. Most notably the Snake and Mongoose 'Cuda and Duster and the track etc. Also a few other MoPars and miscellaneous ones. Never thought about rock bands/ hot wheels connection. But I suppose it somewhat works.....

I still buy Hot Wheels, and I love Zeppelin. I'd have bought these had I known, or would if they were cheap. Cool, but no loss.

Another corporate sell-out for the sake of a buck...
Hot Wheels has definitely become advertisers of sorts, at least it's mostly car related.

This type of advertising, endorsement, in the music business is due to the pennies they all earn from royalties. Downloaded music doesn't pay the bills like a Album, CD, or tape media use to. Theyou are simply merchandising no different than a tee shirt, or Hoodie at a concert, staying relevant in a way

Target market-older people who bought hot wheels while they were building their album collection with Zeppelin records or heard LZ on the radio while playing. Nothing wrong with it.

LZ II is an awesome album. Wife considers it music for play time so the turn table is in the bedroom :p
