Not mine. I caved, made a Facebook. Kinda hate it but there are a few good things. The steering wheel and air cleaner caught my eye.

Love 69 Monaco. I had one. Steering wheel looked completely different. Is that from a B-Body?
Electric seat is also appealing.

if like me and not on facebook, how can one find a link to this vehicle? thanks in advance to anyone with instructions for me.

A friend sent me the link. The woodgrain steering wheel is close to (but not exactly the same as) that from my EB3 ´70 Monaco parts car. A discussion of model-year differences is in this thread. Also, here the center is black, vs. blue in mine.

for posterity, apologies for choppiness as its best a non-member of FB can do with a cell phone and snipping tool :)

My guys looked at this car today. I am the new owner and will start a thread soon. Restoration still a couple years off.

This car has several issues, but with clear title, it is complete, original, and very highly optioned.

One thing it is not?

It aint a rust bucket. :) We can emphatically put that rumor to bed.

Solid Detroit steel everywhere - all pans, all sheet metal, SC its whole life and garaged since 1979 (has 107K miles), darn thing is still wearing bias ply, double WW tires if you can believe that. Doesn't even have parking lot door dings.

Except for hood (on top, there is a repair, pass. side, above the wheel well) the paint is original. Water gets into trunk mainly because of antenna holes (yes, three of them)

Thank you to the members who helped me contact the seller and make the appointment to see it.

How many C acquisitions does that make in the last few weeks? I lost count at three. :wideyed:

better to count since 2017 ... its 11. :) but yeah, three past three weeks.

These are different deals tho .. rough cars to save .. make roadworthy .. find new homes. in five years they will all be gone to new owners. DD's somebody can take the rest of the way, or if they couldn't be saved (300 vert i bought two weeks ago is on the edge of livin'/dyin'), living on having donated to better cars.

but ALL saved from getting into hands of people who don't care what they are .. just wanna harvest 'em/smash 'em. Not judgin' people about that, but not if i can help it :)

Congrats! That 69 Monaco is a car worth saving given the options and powertain.
She can surely be a one of one!
