Well time has come to put my GT up for sale so you folks will see it about and up for sale..
Most folks here have seen what went into this build and there were no shortcuts..
...have over 100k USD into this vehicle with verifiable bills due to it having to come across US border and they want receipts for everything...
GT was appraised by Hagerty and is insured by Hagerty for $149.5k CDN as a replacement cost....am asking 89k USD and feel this is a fair asking price given the rarity and condition of this GT..will consider REASONABLE offers
...its the only White 71 GT out there that lve seen and to top it off has the Brougham package as well which even makes it a rarer beast..especially with the U code 440..No.s matching engine...find another!
Build thread link included below with over 2000 pics of build and what went into it

Really hope that you get at least what you're asking if you have to sell...

No power vents so I’m out but best of luck finding a new home for that beauty!

Good luck with the sale. I sure hope someone with a genuine love for these cars (and of course the funds) ends up with this beauty. That is one fine example a Sport Fury GT. I always loved looking at pics of it.

No power vents so I’m out but best of luck finding a new home for that beauty!

what would you want power vents for when you have power windows...hell the U code alone will make you forget about them....your wife....and your neighbor's :wideyed:

:)

I wish you the best Derek, and hope that the sale goes the way you want it to, and that you're selling it for all the right reasons.

I also hope that the restoration of the Blue 70 goes the way you wish it to as well.

Power vents can't compare to a power top!

You have a fine looking car, I might even consider a trade for my convertible - no wait - no, no, no I wouldn't do that! :p

Derek, your car is freaking awesome and I hope you find someone with the coin and will treat her as a lady!!

Best to you buddy.

I am sorry you have to sell it, but I hope you get top dollar for it. It is a outstanding car

I'm glad you got to enjoy the car, I liked riding along in the videos you posted. It's a beautiful car.

I had the lucky pleasure of being involved with this car’s story and a finer example of our passion can not be found. I know wherever it ends up it will always be a head turner. Good luck buddy we wish you the best with your sale!

Critter- What an absolute shame you have to sell the car, especially after all the time and money you put into it. It must be because of the 70 GT, no?

Would Dave Arent be interested in this car to go with his Sunroof GT, or Billyfury to go with his collection?

Best of luck to you Critter with the sale and I hope you get top dollar and what you are asking. I know someone will buy it, it's just a matter of time.

Best of luck with the sale Derek!

Nice machine.
