We lost the digest mode several days ago and now no Individual messages received. So anyone know where to go ? I know some IML members are on here and was wondering what their thoughts are ? Imperially , Gary...

I can’t wrap my head around how they operated, I tried and it was just way too awkward as someone who only knows forum based enthusiasts groups that make total sense and are easily navigated.

i think the yahoo group will die if it doesnt go to a forum style.
i appreciate the huge amounts of work that have been done and are being done to keep it going, but it is way too awkward and
antiquated to make people want to use.
there is a huge amount of knowledge and information there but its very hard to find.
i rejoined the group after many years ( got my imperial convert back after 25+ years) and was surprised to find it was pretty much the same as when i left.
this was a shock as fcbo had become my go to site.
i think matt is probably 1 of the most recent people to join and so i was very interested in his observations - which i agree with.
i hope it survives as a forum style, ive posted my thoughts there

I couldn’t be more turned off by it.

Count me in as someone that also rejoined the IML.

I first became a member close to its inception , 1998 or so.
Non-forum style never bothered me though I'm not exactly cutting edge with technology.
I do know the information the IML provided concerning my then owned 67 Crown Coupe was second to none.
Probably more so with my 60 Imperial.
Great group of guys over there.
I hope it gets figured out.

There's still Yahoo Groups???

On life support. They wont allow any new groups, people can only join by invitation only, no message or photo archives anymore. Many Yahoo groups mounted an exodus to Groups Io not long ago.

Are you guys talking about Imperialclub.com? That hasn't worked in a few days and have wondered why. I don't know if they were attached to yahoo or not. Now -that- would be ashame if all that information was lost.

The cars for sale section is back up this morning at least after previous attempts over the last week yielded only "this site can not be reached".
