Mopar Recall 16" wheels to Polara cab -70

That’s a repop wheel we are looking at. Classic Industries was (at least them) selling those in 15”, 16”, 17”, and 18” sizes. Some sizes still seem to be available:

Yup, neat wheels. The OP badly needs a set of redwalls, though.

I have what I thought was the latest Classic Industries Catalog, and I am not finding those wheels in it. You indicate that they are still available in some sizes - could you reference at least one part number still available so I can look it up?

Even if Classic Industries was selling those wheels, their mark up on parts in general is high, so I would first check directly with Specialty Wheel Limited or Stockton Wheel if you are indeed interested in a set since you could probably get them much cheaper directly.

I bought my avatar car, the tan 1970 Chrysler 300 at the left, in 1972, with 29K miles on it, off of a used car lot at a Chrysler dealership in Birmingham, MI when I was working for Chrysler at the time. My car had wheel covers when I bought it, but soon thereafter, I bought a set of Exiter wheels made by Motor Wheel for it. They looked like the one in the photo below:

I still have the set of 4 wheels, but I replaced them with the factory road wheels several years down the line. They look much like the recall wheels that I wasn't aware of at the time when I bought these. I still like the way they look.

Those look a lot like the wheels on the famous Palmer Dodge Challenger pace car. Pretty cool.

Very heavy wheels! "Polycast", believe it's a rubberized design, like the late 70's Mopar finned wheels on the Charger and Cordoba. Heavy!!

I always liked Motor Wheel Spyders.

Olds offered those Motor Wheels Exeters on Delta 88s in ‘71-72 and called them SUPER Stock IV. Had a neighbor with a white ‘71 Royale on those wheels. Looked cool and really made it stand out.

Yes, I have seen those. They were probably supplied by Motor Wheel to Oldsmobile but with a center cap that had the Oldsmobile logo. Kind of the same situation with the center caps on the Chrysler Road Wheels where similar versions of center caps were supplied to AMC and were also sold by Motor Wheel independently as an aftermarket center cap.

Here is the Oldsmobile version of the Exiter polycast wheel:

Here are the various examples of the similar center caps to the early 70 Chrysler Road wheels vs the AMC/Motor Wheel aftermarket versions:
