'65 Fury III cowl panel vs. Newport

I just posted an ad looking for a cowl panel for my '65 Fury III. Another member has one from a Newport. Does anyone know if they're the same? I couldn't seem to find a definitive answer.

I believe that there are only two different cowl panels used on all '65-'68 C bodies. A flat one and one with a raised section in the middle. '65-'66 Newport and '65-'66 Fury should be the same.

Correction: Looks like there are three. '67-'68 Imperial has it's own cowl panel according to my collision book.

Jeff - Do you know the reason for the difference, or which specific models each cowl panel was used on? Mine is flat.

my 67 300 vent come from a 67 polara .

Whatever center hood center contours might continue into the cowl panel, even they will physically interchange as to width and such.
