I heard the C-Body Electric trunk releases can be fit to the e-bodies, perhaps an early 70s New Yorker. I saw one sold on here that looked like it could work.

Please let me know if you have an extra and how much you want for it. I would likely need a photo and/or part number.

I saw this one sold on here. It looks like it would work.

1973 Chryslers were the first to have electrically operated trunk lid releases (if so equipped). But I haven't sseen one in person yet. Look at the design of the connectors in the picture. I don't think it is a part from the Fuselage era.

I have the same trunk release as in Big_John's photo, 1972 Dodge Polara police car.

I know that there are Mopar electric releases because my Polara had been retro-fitted with one but it was unreliable for operation for adjustments. Worked sometimes then not so i got rid of it & went back to a manual key release...

My 300 is done the same way, with late 70’s electric latch and remote. I also did electric door locks too.

I have one original unit from a 1977 New Yorker.
Its only the trunk opener, no cables or glove box button.
