I didn’t realise how crazy expensive shift cables for a 65 are.

Yes I was surprised too, you may want to see if you can find a good second hand one. 1963 to 65 B and C bodies should be the same.

Yeah it ends up pretty expensive by the time I do conversion to Australian dollars. Imperial services are doing ones now around $300US. I’ll see what second hand turns up, but might have to bight the bullet and buy new. Appreciate your help. Do you know if the summit speedo cable is the correct one for 65? I thought mine had a plastic cog on the end but not 100% certain. Maybe their pic is just generic pic
The gear on the trans end of the cable is plastic but the original speedometer cable would have been all metal. Spiral wound cable jacket with metal ferrules on the end.
