Your missing plate is probably sitting in the bottom of your door.[/QUOTE]

I was hoping for that but didn't find it. I'll look for it again tomorrow. I can probably fix it with the missing piece.

I removed all the hardware, (exterior door handles/locks trim), from the doors today for cleaning and to make the buffing process easier. I had checked twice for the missing regulator piece in the bottom of the door with no luck. Didn't make much sense it would fall out through the weep hole. I looked again today and "BINGO". It was wedged between the door skin and frame halfway up.
I'll have it repaired tomorrow and be back on track. No need for another regulator.

I've done some serious buffing the past couple of days. What a workout for an ole guy. Ready for the polish now. A lot of the minor scuffs and scratch's are gone the deeper one are less obvious now. Looks good for 57 year old paint.

Ah Hell Rip, the closer he parks to us the less we have to walk to drool all over it. I already know mine belongs next to the dumpster but I doubt they'd let me park it there. (Not in the right class definition maybe.)

Hey Will, a question on your hubcaps. Did you paint the red/orange or is this the original color? Is it the same color as the 14” hubcap centers?
Borrowed photos.

It's the original color plastic centers. Real close to the color of the originals, The ones you posted are really nice.
The wheel covers I'm using are really correct for Dodge trucks from 67-72, I think. They are the same as the disc brake covers except for the red centers. Their 15 inch.

I guess I need to put an extra coat of wax on her...... :poke: ...... And I'll be proud to have your car parked next to mine, if I was bringing it.

Wax on. . . Wax off!

I got the vent window regulator fixed. Drilled, tapped and lubed and it works like new. I figured out why it broke in the first place. The rubber seal was folded over and wouldn't allow the glass to seat. I'm thinking some high school halfback in 1970 decided to reef on the crank to force it and pushed the back plate right off.

Moving forward. Door panels back in place with new arm rests. Doors cleaned and detailed. I'm close to a final buff and polish. Then I'll start in on the interior.
I got the back glass back in place and sealed for now. New top will come last.

She's registered for the NOLA show in March. Likely her first show.... ever.

Terrific job, Wil. That door panel looks great! I really am starting to hate you though. . .

Making a feller rethink his hardcore hardtop stance.

It’s funny, almost every damned 67-68 Dodge I ever rode in had a trashed pass side vent window regulator. Only one that didn’t was my 68.

Angry smokers love riding in the 67-68 dodge full size cars.
