Uncle Tony's flat tappet woes of late

This makes me worried about a job that I have been putting off. I have a mild Comp cam and lifters in my convertible. A few of the lifters don't stay fully pumped-up once the engine is hot, make a clatter under the hood, and the the engine has a bit of rocking at idle. It hasn't gotten any worse over time but is frustrating. I bought some lifters off Rock Auto to swap-in and break-in the cam again with those. They are Sealed Power lifters.

What weight oil are you running?

But if we bring factory jobs back to the USA, think of all the nasty global warming gasses that will produce. Plus if the unemployed all have jobs, who will Democrats be able to represent? Sarcasm aside, we are entirely too dependent for drugs and medical supplies that are produced off shore. I have often wondered, given the crappy quality of ChiCom parts, are there drugs and Med supplies any better?

Most hospital supplies are single use with an amorphous cost so quality is really a non issue, unless youre the worker infected by a holy glove Lol!!!

Scary.

Rotella 15w40, high volume oil pump with standard pressure spring.

Well the oil's not the problem then.

I wonder if that HV pump being on bypass all the time with the standard pressure spring isn't aerating the oil and after it sits, the lifters collapse some after the air separates out?

Probably bordering on highly unlikely...
