Found these while cleaning garage today. 27 fender tags from C and Y body cars that I've had over the years. A few years ago I sent double that amount to Hammtramck registry along with broadcast sheets. I have another 15 or so to ad to it.

Ken, I know Doug( @69CoronetRT ) would love to have them for the good of the cause.:thumbsup:

Sure, postage will be about $10 small USPS flat rate box. I have some more I will ad. You share info with Barry W ?

Barry on the Hamtrack site would love to have them I am sure. He is great with getting them back to the cars if they still exist.

View attachment 352282 I assume if your a tag collector,you know how to read them. How about a read on this 61 ply tag ?

Ken, Here are some of the codes on your fender tag.
(maybe able to track down some of the other codes if I can find my 1961 Plymouth book)

BDY: 332 = model code RP2-H
3 = Plymouth 8 cylinder
3 = Fury
2 = Detroit assembly plant

PNT: BB1
B = jet black body
1 = monotone paint

H5 = heater with defroster

Indeed a great service,
but no one will ever see them again unless they can prove ownership.
Lost information to our hobby.

Are there any 70 Bh Ebody tags? I have to ask.

I assume all the cars to these tags do not exist anymore as they got parted out and crushed? Or is there a chance any of them still hiding somewhere?

Ok, once again, there is no such critter as a Y-body Mopar, other than the front-drive Imperials of the early '90s.

The 1964 - 1966 Imperials are D-body cars.

The 1967 - 1975 Imperials are C-body cars.

The 1981 - 1983 Imperials are J-body cars.

ALL are the Y LINE!!!

Look at the B-body cars. A "W" signifies a Coronet or Charger from 1966-1978. Do any of you call them "W" cars??? No. You don't.

Never thought to take the tags at pick n pull. Saw some cool cars go through the Stockton, CA yard.
Remember a v code 70 Super-bee 4 Spd 4.10 Dana car. Hit hard in the drivers door-jam. Wish I had taken them all now!

Any V code can be fixed.
I hate to take tags, but when a car is doomed to the crusher it's a good time to retrieve them.
I try to purchase any tag I can find. I don't get the chance's to see them at actual crush yards. So old guys with tags in their garages are the only way I seem to ever get tags.
Picked up a BH barracuda the other day. A 72 car.
I post up the tags I get on the respective sites so if anyone ever search's google for their vin number it will come up. And I'll gladly give them their tag.
