They are. It's just takes time and production of aftermarket parts. Pretty much anything 2-door, solid and all original from the mid-60s is rising, mostly because of the engine and drive train set up. The cars themselves are in demand because the are now bringing back memories of our Gen X-ers breaking into the age of 50.

Definitely no reason to buy a car, I know I paid too much for mine...but that's not why I bought it. I bought mine because it's just what I always wanted and knew it was very hard to find and would have taken me even more money to get it where it is now myself. Will it be worth 25k in ten years...I think so, but again... I don't give a ****. Until I'm dead, she's my ride and she turns a lot of heads.
 
I feel the exact same way, I've always been into the oddities, I love these things.

As you can see I've had many happy years of enjoyment, but you can also see where I'm coming from when I said "its sad our cars dont hold any real value"
I've lost loads of $$ over the years LOL!

all good still love these thing no matter what!
