I did find out more about Redeye's.....

The Redeye does have the exact same powertrain as the Demon. The only difference is the hood. The Demon hood scoop was bigger and let a lot more air in to the intake and that is where the extra 11 hp came from. The problem with that hood was that it created an insane amount of lift on the front end of the Demon. So to get that under control Mopar designed the dual snorkel hood that is currently used on Redeye's. The front end lift problem was solved and the Redeye still develops 797 HP. There's other things like the track ECU that comes in the Drag Pak crate which can only be used on a Demon specific VIN. Those ECU's won't work on Redeye's unless you have an unlocked Diablo race ECU. I'm not going to mess with my Redeye....797 HP is enough for me......for now. LOL!

I can't have one. I would surely run the thing out on the highway and either kill myself or be arrested.
I'm highly disappointed that my truck is governed at 108 and my RT topped out at 144.....
The 392 surely would have been tested too if I had decided to go that way. Not sure how people keep from winding these thing out .

My 392 Scat Pack tops out at 187 mph.

I haven't been that fast....yet.

I did hit 142 mph in the shutdown area at my local racetrack. That 392 builds massive speed at the big end of the 1/4 mile.

Yeah, I'd run that out on the highway ....many many times, tempting fate , pushing my luck and my guardian angels patience.

Serves him right, freaking idiot.

I had a neighbor call the cops on me because I started my Scat Pack too early in the morning and woke the useless hag up at 7am. The cops were outside of my house looking up and down the street for tire burnouts. Do they think if I did any burnouts that I would do it in front of my own house??? WTF!!!! I don't do burnouts....the FN tires are way too expensive to be doing that stupid ****. I've done 4 burnouts with the line lock on purpose at the drag strip to make 4 runs.

I also have an Escort 360C with a Blendmount mirror mount and the wiring harness that taps into the mirror wiring. The detector attaches to the mount with a magnet. I have the same setup in the Charger, Ram and I have the parts coming for the Challenger. So I can transfer the detector between the 3 vehicles in 5 seconds. I haven't even been pulled over since I started using the Escort. There are cops and speed traps always moving around my area so it's a great insurance policy. I don't drive like a maniac.....most of the time but the Escort is a great warning tool.

More Redeye info.....

The 6.2L supercharged engine has the same bore as the 6.4L engine. I believe its 4.08". The stroke is the same length as the 5.7L engine. I don't know what the length by heart yet. The 6.4L rods are obviously longer. The compression ratio in the 6.2L is lowered to 9.5:1 because it is supercharged. The 6.4L is 10.9:1 compression. The Redeye has the same 2.7L supercharger same as the Demon and makes 14.5 psi of boost. Hellcat's have a 2.4L supercharger that makes 11.8 psi of boost. The Redeye has super heavy duty rods and forged pistons. It also has dual electric fuel pumps. The 6.2L Hellcat has one fuel pump.

Sounds expensive to buy out of the box and more expensive to repair once the warranty is up.

BUT I love it!

Dang!

I received the Weathertech floor and trunk liners yesterday for the Redeye. That was quick!!!
