Not mine. The car is being advertised for sale on FB at $6.5k, but it is negotiable. The seller was helpful in responding to me over the weekend, but I understand from a fellow member that, since I passed on the car two days ago, he has become a bit disillusioned by his interactions with a bunch of low-ballers (I made no such offer).

The car is said to be numbers-matching. I believe, though, that CS43T2C303917 has been repainted. The seller does not know; what led me to this conclusion (after helpful discussions with a couple of knowledgeable members) are the color of the primer and the coat thickness--see the chip picture below. Regardless, if it has been repainted, then the paint job looks (very) good to me.

The seller, who bought the car from his boss' FIL, says that the car looks really good and there is not a speck of rust anywhere. My gut tells me to believe him. I do not see a single issue with the vinyl top or the rear window area, either. FWIW, the car was apparently garage-kept and left outside only on vacation trips (there is a trailer hitch in the back).

The interior is in overall good condition, with the main issues being (from what I have seen in the pics and the videos) a cracked dash pad and a cracked driver-side A-pillar cover. The carpets appear to have been replaced, at least in the front. On a minor note, a seam needs repair on the front seat and another needs the same on the back seat. I am not qualified to say if those are a minor repair for the right person, or if they would require re-upholstering to be perfect.

The engine runs (sounds good in video the seller sent to me) but the car had sat for 8-10 years prior to the purchase and so the gas tank had to be cleaned up, with new mechanical fuel pump and filter. Still, the seller says that even now the car gets starved of gas after about 10 minutes.

As for the power toys, the seller has checked the seats (work!) and the horn (does not). He has not tested the power windows given the cold weather. The heater is said to work, but he does not know about the A/C (manual H51).

This car looks really good, but I have decided that it is not for me.

That chip in the paint is more than primer underneath. Car probably had some body damage and the repair was completed with spraying surface evener over that section. To repair the chip will most likely require that whole panel be cleaned up and repainted if one is going for a quality fix. Overall it is a decent looking car that appears solid, if it is still starving for fuel, it probably still has some crap in the tank or fuel lines that will need to be addressed. Replacing the dash pad runs some where in the neighborhood of $800. Some wear on the interior would be expected on a car of this age. I am thinking about $4.5k-$5k should buy it. This assumes it does not have any rust and has decent tires and does not have ATC II.

The tires have plenty of thread and look good, but they may be old. I confirm that the A/C is manual. Here is the full decode of this nicely-loaded New Yorker Brougham:

Looks like a solid driver quality car $4-5,000 maybe, based on a in person inspection. Price could drop but probably not go up.

The asking price is down to $4.8k. Additional pics show how nice the exterior is.

In the last picture, I highlight two areas where the passenger-side seat seams have partly given in. The carpet (at least up front) looks like it was replaced at some point.

The cracked dashed and rimblow steering wheel would need to be replaced, if someone wanted a really nice car. The right donor is listed for sale a couple of hours south, in the Florida panhandle.

I have seen this one on FB and I am amazed at its condition. I see nothing to detract from the price it is currently at. The flaws noted are not nearly as bad as some of the other New Yorkers that are priced twice as high. From the looks of it, you could enjoy the car right away.
