I'm reading in other forums this company has lost its heartbeat. If so, would anybody know what replacement parts are for their c-body front disc conversion is? I heard they had some Ford parts in the package. Thanks.

Yes, No longer in business is my understanding. I installed their 4 wheel discs back in 2002 ish. I know that the rears are Ford Thunderbird as I ordered a caliper for a 1993 as one of mine went bad with the internal park brake. As far as fronts I have checked and they are not the same as the T-bird.
Are yours 4 piston front calipers ?

What's your model number on those fronts? That helps make life easier and not give you bad info. Good Luck

You can always visit the ol Scarebird. Some guys are against it due to the frankenstein parts, but it's worked perfect for me. Good quality, solid guy to work with.

Scarebird Classic Brakes LLC

Worked for my 64 NY.

Kit I bought from them used ('67 I think?) mustang front pads, D11

If you have the "parts list" that came with the kit, it spells out what a lot of the parts are from.

SSBC has been "on the ropes" for years now, so it was no surprise that they folded. They had a rep for extremely bad customer service and delivery. I understand their products were OK though.

If it were me, and I needed some replacement parts for a SSBC kit, I would give these guys a call. LEED Brakes

Here's my reasoning.... They are in the same area (Buffalo, NY) as SSBC. Chances are good that they are very familiar with the local competition's products and it would not surprise me if they have some of their ex employees. This is speculation on my part, but it's worth a phone call.

This is why I'm really not a fan of some of these aftermarket conversions. You know they used mostly off the shelf stuff for calipers and rotors, but knowing what the source is seems to be a secret. I'll bet Ford rotors with GM calipers, but that's an educated guess.
