Looks to be pics of the ultimate early 70’s used car lot. Wow...

I wonder if any of those are still around and in good nick. The '68 Charger, what a beautiful machine.

The red Road Runner is just like the one my friend had in high school. His was a 383 4 spd. Beautiful car! Thanks for the trip to the memory lane car lot!

I remember those days. the back couple rows usually held the best treasures. I grew up near Sanford Chrysler Plymouth, (sponsoring dealer of the Ramchargers), in the early/mid 60's. It seems there were always Max wedge cars on the lot there.

Great pictures. Remember how cheap some of those cars sold for back then when the first oil crisis hit. These are two pics of my HO layout car dealer and Exxon station. Glory days.

I was expecting baseball but I’m not disappointed...

In his earlier days, in the later '60s, the drag racer Gene Snow had a used car lot in Downtown Fort Worth, TX. After hearing about it, I found it and found what appeared to be some race cars there. Not interested, at the time. Years later, some friends mentioned going down there to look around at the drag racing oriented cars. One mentioned a car with a gutted interior (one Dodge van bucket seat) that used a seat belt to raise and lower the front windows. Didn't realize the significance of THAT until decades later.

Thanks for the pictures of the cars when they were "just used cars".
