A few more pictures of the upgrade...note the lead deposits in the lifter valley. They show up like gray/white paint pigment. Relic of high test ethyl usage.

Well cool my friend, we have a '68 440 Fury conv over here, I couldn't believe it when I saw yours had a 4 speed in it,.... LOL, ,I took your photos off here up to my work to show my mate who I share the car with,
I said "check this bad ***** out mate" he was as impressed as me. Interior looks stunning from the pics. We have been trying to find both side drop glass' for years for ours, its the main thing we are missing after 5 years of collecting parts its coming together now.
We found some in Germany for 400euros but we have to go and get it and its a bit sketchy at present now we are out of the EU.:D

Nice to meet you! Sounds like a really cool car with the 440. Mine is a pretty good mover with the 4 speed, especially since the installation of the new cam. Post some pics of your car. Is it originally a 440 car?

Yessir, its an L engine code, I tried to post one last night but It would not work, I managed to post a few when I joined but for some reason the format has changed(?) it appears, and now no longer works,,,grrr.., Ill have another go tonight . Im far from being computer savvy and have no kids to show me how LOL
