At least it’s not as dead mouse populated as I figured it’d be.

Lotta damage in that window channel area tho... worst part of the car thus far.

Surprised this window is still in one piece and/or not on the highway.

The lower section of this shot is center top of the flow through box, the top is the open trunk lid, the chrome is the rear window trim... them little diagonal lines’ere are the vents in the dutchman’s panel. It’s about that f***ed up all the way across.

May I suggest Seang's Auto & Boat Upholstery in South Hadley M.A. Buddy of my stepfathers knows the guy who owns the place, and we had a couple tops done by him and he did a great job.

Thanks, I’ll definitely check them out!

Jeeez, FINALLY. You guys seem to dig these out within a week of getting your cars:

I’m gonna leave the back seat back one till I can get some more hands on it.

Anyway, decent weather before the yard starts growing is car time. Took the seats out and was happy to find no further mouse housing. Probably going to roll them out for one more quote before making a decision but it looks like I’m going to get them done sooner than later.

I know that the likelihood of this car going anywhere this summer is nill but I look forward to working on her.

I hope y’all are well and have not caught the cordobavirus.

Think of it as sound deadener.
Aside from the hantavirus and empty acorn shells, that’s really all it is. Admittedly, the acorn shells emit a sort of Caribbean wind chime vibe at highway speeds.. real relaxing.

Another good reason to buy from someone here.
That sheet would be pulled and de-coded for you already!:D

Nice to see you haven't given up! I was worried about you last year. At least you know where your spare money will be going for some years to come.
Nah, I get grumpy and talk about ditching things. But I usually just slow my roll and suck it up.

For anyone in the area who is interested, these were done in Glastonbury, CT by this feller:
Hartford CT Custom Auto and Boat Upholstery | Convertible Tops and Headliners | Antique Car Restoration
Guy’s name is Joe and is hot sh**. If you’re looking for work that looks original and is built as original, he’s probably not your guy. However if your looking for work that looks original but is built like a brick sh** house with quality materials, I strongly suggest giving him a holler.

I don’t think I’ve been quite as impressed with an operation such as this in a long time if ever. Knowledgeable, accountable, downright grumpy about bad work and has the product to back the attitude.

If I had the scratch, he’d do the whole interior but honestly, it’s time for me to get off my a** too.

Anyway, that’s my update.
