Rattle can primer on the lower body is a real selling point. Has a HP manifold on what appears to be a T-code engine, air cleaner has been gutted (missing flapper valves), missing heat stove. Paint is faded, interior shows considerable wear on driver's seat, after market wheels. Car appears reasonably rust free, would need a detailed underside inspection. Appears to have a good dash, washer bottle and door panels. Suspect that there might be some lower body bondo under the primer.

minor thing - custom suburbans did not come with the hidden headlight grille, so thats been added.
T code 440 would have been single exh, so perhaps HP manifolds were added w dual exhaust

When I first came across this listing I got so excited. Here I found a Sport Suburban for thirteen hundred, jackpot I thought! And I like the look of the concealed headlights. But when I was about to quickly message the seller that's when I realized my mistake with the price. No f'ing way.

Billyfury? This might be one for him. With the things that Dave explained, $13,000 :realcrazy:. Thats a bit much for a car thats not even fully painted. All in all I like it though. Are there more photos, say of a fender tag perhaps?

its missing the wheel opening moldings , fronts not a prob finding but wagon specific rears might be hard to find.....

Depending on the condition of the underside, if it is rust free given the noted defects, probably more like $5k-$5.5k. If the primer is hiding a bunch of bondo, run! At $13k, this car would need to be near perfect condition and original. This one obviously is not.

I'm pretty sure this is the same wagon I saw at Mopars in the Park in 2015 and it was for sale. Can't remember the price for sure. It was somewhere in the $3500-$5500 range IIRC and paint notwithstanding it was a solid looking car and the owner was motivated but hadn't had any bites. I was interested in it but had just bought a 99 Diesel Dodge 4x4 in Saskatchewan and was driving it home so bad timing as usual.

So that seems to be D4F8 interior 8 (vinyl split bench with folding center armrest in forest green )

Facebook stalking results : guy owns it since 2012. primer was on it when he bought it back then already.
guy has multiple c bodies and other Mopars
he seems to be a racer so that bigblock in there might have been used heavily

this is one of his other cars

Yea but it comes with your own swap meet on the tailgate... that's a bonus right there!

Well the exhaust obviously needs to be redone, not suppose to come straight out the back like that. Especially with a 9 passenger wagon. Does he say in the ad what mufflers he is running? Please don't let it be Cherry Bombs. They sound like **** and are illegal in most states.

That paint on the lower body looks like brushed on flat latex interior wall paint; check out the unfinished edges around he emblems, molding, etc.

Na if it was latex over bare metal (BIG NO NO) you'd see rust coming right through the paint right away. Believe me I've done it once (but not on a car).

Engine bay looks like it's been steam cleaned very well.

I'm not even sure if that's rust prevention / primer or such thing. It might be a try of a super redneck two - tone paintjob

Jackasses like this is why I have given up looking. These guys think there junk is worth gold. When someone wants 2.5 times what it is worth, I would not even bother trying to counter.....
