My new pal Elwood

First of all you better do what you can to get that ‘68, it’s silver for gods sake!:wideyed:
If that were a ‘67 I’d be messaging you right now. that one seriously needs whitewalls!
I also noticed the bypass on your ‘64 and I probably have some extra water necks and could tell you what I used for a proper upper hose.
I’m in the midst of a possible deal on another ‘67 coupe right now that I know I shouldn’t buy...
I was told it was a 67 when I heard about it, turned out to be a 68 upon further investigation lol- even lower production numbers- data tag definitively present I have pic
I'll PM you when I get the 64 home and start going thru it and start straightening things out - thanks

Late to the thread. Congratulations on the Imperials! My Lord, they're lovely.
Agree with the "need whitewalls" sentiments.

You are coming with me sir !

Congrats on the '64 conv. Looks fantastic on the outside. More pictures! On the WW front, I got these Ironman RB-12 tires for my conv. last year and so far they haven't turned brown, so I guess I can recommend them. The WW width (1") and spacing from the wheel are the closest to the original that I could find, and they were about 60 bucks each. A set of '64 wheel covers would also help, to my eye.

There’s a set off of a white car on eBay currently and I also have a set of white in similar or maybe slightly better condition? I’d have to go through all of the ones I have though to make sure a decent set stayed with my car although I think I’m going to use a nice set of ‘61s that I have on my car that I think go with it’s patina better.

An even rarer 68 Crown Vert estate car that wasn’t necessarily “for sale “ appeared on my radar the other day- this one even had power vents
It needs some body and paint and a new top and bumper work
We shook hands two grand apart on price

Did you guys ever come to an agreement? Doesn't look like you need another, but, dang that is one nice car! Last year of the Imperial convertible!
