1970 Sport suburban

I am following this with interest, as I know of another Sport Suburban that belongs to a member here. Also because I am a '70 Fury guy. Interesting your wagon did not come with a radio.
Funny thing my 69 was optioned without a radio also. But the police cut the plastic to put in a CB or radio.

Just a few more pics of the wagon. Also after I got this wagon my dad wanted one really bad so I found him his 71 FY1. And then I couldn't pass up a retired Oregon police wagon. This year so far I put dual mirrors on and swapped back to manual steering which was factory.

have you driven it yet with the manual steering? How bad is it?
Yea I put on about 200 miles so far. I love it my 69 is manual also the only thing I need to swap out is smaller tires in front. I had a front tire go bad last year and I only had a set of 265 50 15s. I usually have 235 60 15 or 245 60 15 on the front.

Maybe I can give it a whirl at the summer meet? I have a manual setup for mine that I thought I might need with the turbos. With the future 5.7 turbo I still might need that room

Definitely can do I'm glad it's finally done enough to come to that C body meet.
