We bought a house

Congrats Sporty!
Sounds just like property I’m looking for up north. I want more “elbow space” and room for a big garage.

Saturday morning the sun came out for a bit and I took a few pic's with my phone.

This is the North side of the house and I would attach it to the house.

My Shed

I need to clean and arrange the shed. Right now I just put my stuff in there and it's a wreck.

I have all the trim off in the house, it was easier to paint and I want to change a lot of it.
We have been extremely blessed by the support we have received from our 2 boys, our family and our church family. Help packing, 2 of our friends painted the living room, kitchen and the 3 bedrooms. We had a large crew moving all our stuff here.
Once I have the dining room, hallway and bathrooms ready for paint, my friends wife will paint those also.
I thank the Lord for all those who have helped, because many hands make for light work.

When I get more finished inside I will take some pic's

Congrats on the new house!! I can attest to moving away from the dense city centers, I have 5 acres of mostly tree land and can only barely see one neighbours house to the north of me, I love it out here away from everything.

Is you new home on septic of city sewer? Just looking at the land and wonder if that large area where you want the shop might have a septic drainage field below ground?

best news i've heard all day. remember, when you build the garage, it's 13ft ceiling height for the lift. very best of luck to you and yours from your fellow mechanic, SG.

I'm just finishing my 3 year journey building my shop, I went with 14' ceiling for hoist clearances as well as 12' high doors front and rear for large equipment or RV if required in the future.

Congratulations! Looks like a nice place. Do you have power in that shed out back? Could be a nice man cave back there.

The situation as very much the same for us when we moved, 20 folks from church showed up. Everything was packed, moved 9 miles, unloaded into it's appropriate places in about 3 hours.

Congratulations!

I live on 16 acres and have a 100’ x 60’ insulated, heated shop with concrete floors (it’s full).

I suspect that you will need a bigger ‘shed’...
