Trying to slowly restore a 1966 newport hardtop 4 door and finding certain parts and information has been difficult. The big challenge Im facing right now is upholstery for my bench seats. Ive talked to the guys at Laysons and multiple other places and it doesnt appear that they make replacement covers for my car, and the quotes Ive received to have them custom done in vinyl are about 2 grand! Anybody know if any other C body covers would work for my car, at least for the back bench? The guy I talked to at Laysons said maybe a 67 Furry III cover might work for the back but hes not a C body guy and couldnt tell me for sure. Im hoping somebody here has gone through the same thing and could point me in the right direction. Thanks all!
