Since 1980, I've owned nearly 800 cars and trucks, beside this. This stayed with me the whole time.

It had just 19,501 miles at the time of purchase. It was my daily for almost five years, where I put almost 60K more on it. When I bought a new '85 Dodge D150, the Coronet became a hobby car. Through the '90s, I put another 20K on it. The car rolled the odometer in January 2000, When it had about 100,100 miles on it, it ended up being driven very seldom. I entered my phase of Chevy and Dodge truck ownership, and owning and building Hudsons. So, over the past 20 years, it's only had 4,720 miles put on it, with most of those over the past three years. Remember, I've owned a boatload of cars over my lifetime! Right now, it shows 104,845 miles.

Okay that’s what I figured. Congrats on holding onto your first cool car. My AAR cuda was a rust bucket and pretty much fell apart. I still miss it but the guy who bought it during the 90’s boom sunk $60 or 70k into it to sell it for about $100k at Barrett Jackson. Too rich for my blood. Is the condition in your before pictures as good as your posted after pictures? Sorry for all the questions but we like to hear about this kinda stuff Lol!!!

My car looked like that in 1980, except it still had the original wheel covers. on it. I've gone through five different wheel/tire combos on it over the years; and I still have the original wheels plus two sets of stock wheel covers.

Car was repainted in 1985.

1980 was FORTY YEARS AGO??

Yeah how about that? My daughter is in a funk...she’s turning 40 this month. It doesn’t help that the dire circumstances these days meant we had to cancel her party either. Beautiful car by the way. Congrats
