40 years together...

Very nice. Credit to you for keeping it that long and still in great condition. Very low miles for a then 14 year old car, was the first owner an old bloke by any chance?

He was pushing 70 in 1980. Bought the car in Denver, he moved (with the car) to NOLA for a few years, then back to Denver.

My car has a unique history. On the broadcast sheet at the bottom, it says "Airports and Terminals"...come to find out, my car and one of every other '66 model Dodge car (minus Charger) and one truck were on display at the old Stapleton Airport in Denver, to highlight the new Dodges. It was built Sept 1, '65, and sold new at Skyline Dodge in Denver in January '66. It's the only build sheet I've ever seen with that on it. Back when you could actually get info from GG, mine is the only one he'd seen with that, as well.

It has also been as a feature car in the 2010 film "The Amendment" (released initially as "Heaven's Rain") about a true event that occurred in 1979.

And, on the October 1985 cover of Car Craft, it's one of four cars featured there.

I've driven it through every State West of the Mississippi, plus seven East of that; along with British Columbia and Tijuana, MX.

The original owner (long gone now) bought my 1978 NYB with a factory CB and was cruising the Penn Turnpike near York preaching Jesus to the Truckers and anyone that would listen to him on the CB.

1980 was FORTY YEARS AGO??
