Not Mine:

Spotted this on Facebook this morning. Not a bad price considering it's got a decent set of road wheels on it. It's well optioned for a Newport too.

As usual, something is blocking me from putting up a link to the listing, so you'll have to search it.

This was for sale down the shore 18 months ago for 900. It moved from the shore to a local town and sat there and the listing was removed

anybody seen trunk pan? laid eyes on this one?

thanks for a reply if so.

I passed the car every day for several months. I guess that was two winters ago.

Disc brake car with air and power windows. Trunk lid showing rust. Engine looks not to have run in a long time. Car is going to be worth the asking price, but it is going to need a lot of work just to make a driver out of it. Rear window is out which means the rear seat area and trunk are shipping a lot of water. NJ car so a frame inspection is a must. Note service modification to the horn ring.

Is that New Yorker lower body trim?

Yes. Someone went through quite a bit of effort to install all that trim. Looks like the car was probably painted at the same time. I bet the paint would actually buff out pretty good, but I'm sure it would haze over again fairly quick.

Color reminds me of Earl Blue.

The FB link works. Thank you @c-barge

@polara71 -- did you ever get the fender tag for the car? Also, did you post about it at the time?

THE CAR WAS POSTED ON THIS BOARD as a not mine for 900, not by me.

Thank you, found it. AFAICT the asking price at the time for CE27L0C201697 was $2k, not 900. @75LandYacht, you posted the VIN tag at the time: would you happen to have a pic of the fender tag by any chance?

No sir.. I was interested in the car back when it for sale as Dave mentioned. I did contact the previous owner back then who sent me a bunch of pictures that I have since deleted, which included the fender tag. Sorry guys.
