Saw this parked outside a local body shop. Pretty cool to see this in a rural Wisconsin farming town of about 4,000 folks. I've only seen one on Jay Lenos Garage. I'll try to get more details tomorrow. They were closed this afternoon.

Thanks for posting this. I always thought these cars were interesting. I only seen 2, one on the Wheeler Dealers tv show and another one at Carlisle

I've seen a few at the Flings in Van Nuys. There was also one here in Chico last year on the stopover leg of the "Great Race." I don't know that there was anyone around who knew what it was. Other than me....

They have a coil front and rear leafs? Wonder what rear end?

Is that an alarm clock to wake them up?

Always thought this model was cool, I had a Matchbox car when I was a kid, and around 15 years ago there was a British couple in Atlanta who would bring theirs to car shows, enjoyed chatting with them, they were real devotees, you have to be because these cars have many quirks.

I'd always seen pictures of them and thought they were neat, PLUS Chrysler B/RB power and TorqueFlite. I believe the rear end design was a DeDion style se-up? Something completely European.

One day, probably about 1975 general time frame, Overseas Motors in Fort Worth had one on their Jaguar show room floor. I could walk up to it. Hood was open. Obviously a used car, BUT when I saw what it would take to change a spark plug, END of my attraction to them. It was great that it was a 440, but in a day long before Iridium or even common Platinum spark plugs, no way did I want one after that. Still neat, but for somebody else's garage.

Never did get to see a Monteverdi up close to see its 440 installation.

Still neat, though.

I think the rear end was a Mopar 8,75, but perhaps someone knows for certain.

I think you're joking, but the Great Race is all about time; thus the clock.

Knew I had seen some at a Fling, did not realize how long ago it was. Spring Fling, 2011. Was the last Spring one I attended, having moved to Chico in June of that year. I have been to very Fall Fling since 2014, visiting them while seeing my son.
