Hello!!! :)
I am searching bucket seats and center console for my 70 Polara.
Condition is not so important, frames should be good, because i covered up them.
Please offering all with willingness to ship to Germany.... :)

Thank you very much in advance!

Be aware, if someone offers up a console from a Chrysler, they are different from what was used in Dodge and Plymouth in 70-71.
Probably fits the same, though.

Edit - Chrysler maybe is same as Dodge, but definitely differet from Plymouth, which still used the same console that started in 66. Probably different console tops, though, whether silver or woodgrain.

Bottom is the same.

Does your car currently have a bench? And you're looking to swap in buckets?

Are there some differences in seats?

There are the "highback" one piece buckets, and the "lowback" style, with adjustable headrest.

To expand on that, '70 has low back with head rests. '71 has high back. Either one should bolt in.

Good point, I forgot about that. '69 and '70 should be the same? And definitely '71 will fit a '70. My '70 Newport currently has its original passenger bucket as the drivers, and a '71 New Yorker bucket as the passenger, (Headshake). At least it came with the original drivers.

Yea, '69 should be the same, but early builds (built before 1 Jan 1969) might not have headrests.

If the OP isn't fussy about getting it "correct", they reproduce consoles for B body Mopars that will work. The nuances of the tops of these consoles is beyond me, so I don't know what the correct one is for a '70 Polara, but the wood grain of a '68-'70 B body console looks pretty decent. Not cheap, but even used consoles bring top $$ in good shape. Most repop vendors would ship to Europe too.

If the correct top can be found, but the base is toast, the B and C body base is the same, so a repop base would make perfect sense.

At first. thank you all for your competent responses!

Yes at the moment i have a bench. I want to switch to bucket seats and console.
The condition is secondary, because seats should be covered with real leather and console should reworked to include a B&M Shifter and maybe also covered up partially with leather.
So to rework a perfekt preserved one would not be reasonable.
So im not fussy, but it should be reasonably consistent/harmonius and not looking "motley".

I have seen these two types of seats often, e.g highback version in Challengers. They are also offered often in Internet. Are they always the same, so could i also take seats from A-Body?

A body seats might bolt in, they would look out of place though. They're far to small. B and E body's are a bit bigger, yet still too small for our big C's.

The C body track is four inches wider, and is longer than the B Body.
The console base is the same, but the lid style changes slightly. The C body consoles often have cigarette lighter wiring with the lighter in the chrome housing at rear of console.
