What are these door seals called? They are on the inside, and wrap around the door frame, they are cloth covered, are they available?

I'm not sure yet, haven't looked super close yet. Does it just come in a long piece and you cut to fit? Thanks

Comes in long pieces, cut to fit. Held in place by toothy jaw type clips.

You need windlace with what's called a "leg", which is a secondary strip that the toothy jaws bite onto. See pic below.

As well, try to determine if the leg has a woven wire substrate in it - most did and hence fit better and stayed in place better/longer. Some legs are fabric only, some have a cardboard substrate.

Any idea who makes the window/run seal kits for the window? Didn't find anything with a quick Google search

I can supply you window channels also. Dave
Great , what do you far for the two side channels, and the seal that "wipes" the window? Normally called a cat whisker I think

I haven't got the window out yet, so I don't know if I'll need the side channels yet

The channels come in lengths . The cat whiskers will come as a set. You will need to call shop because there are variations. 814-509-6410

Keep in mind he's likely referring to the tailgate, which is the current source of frustration for him, detailed in another thread.

That being said, @QQE from looking at your profile and not being able to rely on my spotty memory if this info was made public before somewhere here, I think you're connected with Gary Goers old business, yes? If so, I can thoroughly endorse your business, having bought from you at various times since the 90s. Now called Quirey Quality Design.

Quirey Quality Design Co.

@mopar440 , Quirey Quality Design mentioned above stocks and manufactures many many types of clips, weatherstrips, window run channel, window sweeps and more model-unique interior and trim, specifically for our Chryslers. Additionally, they sell Top Cat brand catwhiskers which are the best model specific door glass catwhisker sets.

The weatherstrip, catwhisker and channel run specific to the tailgates on our wagons though are likely not available as a model specific set (yet, though hopefully they're planning on manufacturing it so), and you'll have to make due with generic pieces that can be put together to service your tailgate's needs.

@QQE you should list yourself here on this site as an FCBO vendor as quite a few other businesses do. I think it might help you gain a bigger profile here. Perhaps @Joeychgo the big boss can help you with that. Your business is vital to our hobby.

I will do that when ready, thanks!

Ross, thanks for all your help on this. The wagons are pretty unique, and I don't want to damage anything, and want to be on the road by late spring, the kids are excited! Good to know this vender is good, lots of scams out there, and I don't want to wait 6 weeks or more on someone just drop shipping something

I'll subscribe to this. I am looking for door weatherstripping for my 66Monaco and possibly other items, do you carry this @QQE?

@TxDon - if wagon specific door weatherstrops are unavailable, 4 door sedan w strips will work, but may be too long for the rear door. However, they can be sectioned at where they go along the bottom of the door, and crazy glue will join them together. If they're not available either, make them from extrusion, which is available.

I had to make door weatherstrips for my first 2 door HT because at the time they didn't exist. I cut off the molded ends from my originals and glued them to my new weatherstrip extrusions I bought. Worked perfectly.

I'm also interested if @QQE has them though...

Ross you are correct. I plan on doing business plan next week. Need to see a profile of channel for the tailgate to see if I can match. I can provide the extrusion and clips for the door seals. 66-68 will be the same 65 by itself. Thx for positive response.

Here's a photo of the channel, window front swipe seal and rear swipe seal. Is this things you have made it can make? Thanks!

@QQE I am watching this thread also be interested. I Have a 68 Plymouth Fury Wagon. I could bring the car to you if that will help or send detailed pictures. Windber is only about 1 1/2 hrs from me.
