Front shocks. NORS KYB. What a friggin pain in the *** for two shocks. First one was ok. The second got wedged on the outside ot the LCA when it was expanding. Took about 20 mimutes to get it freed. Thought I was going to have to pop the upper ball joint to allow the LCA to drop more.

Have been trying to order carpet from SMS. Haven’t heard from them to place my order for a week now. Nice website looking through all the swatches but ordering system is a big fail.

I ordered off eBay. The color looks right. $245. They had it for 2dr auto, 2 dr 4 speed and 4 dr auto.

Gas pedal was $100

Rock Auto has the sound deadener for $51.

USPS is running slowly these days. I have two items for car somewhere in the system. Both items are late with one looking kinda lost as last tracking update was last Friday.

Postman must have heard me grumbling!
He just delivered my Tayman radio conversion today.
Man, that thing cleaned-up nicely!
Got my speakers and cable. Now for a nice warm day........
While I’m at it the new dash pad is going in.

I had my radio done by Tayman as well. And installed the same front dual channel speaker you have in the picture. I can't remember what 6x9's I used in the back. The radio conversion is a little spendy, but I am not disappointed. I went with the USB and bluetooth. Hands free phone is pretty clear, Can keep my phone charged as well. Only complaint is I have the thumb dials vs the knobs. The radio would be easier to switch to bluetooth or answer if I had the knobs. But works ok when I remember how to work it.

I'm very interested in how this radio conversion turns out for you. I'm in the middle of doing the same thing with new speakers and the radio in my '66 conv. Do you have a reverb in your setup? I'm hoping I can get mine to work with the new radio, etc.

My car does have the reverb but hasn’t worked since I’ve had it. Just the rear fader control worked. I’m just going to leave it all in place and bypass for new system and spkrs.
I was just thinking the old reverb may not be compatible with the new high watt non-grounded spkr set up.

Well, on Sunday we brought the old girl home. Last night I cleaned out the garage and got her inside. Prepping to do the timing chain.
I need to go out and organize some more of the garage.
