Spectra CU332 Radiator & Shroud. Radiator is mediocre Chinese workmanship, but it does fit. Had to slot lower mounting holes and all shroud mounting holes. 2" spacer gave 2" clearance to radiator, fan blades extend about 1" behind shroud. 3/4" is supposed to be ideal. Close enough.

Accel 5041K, cut your own coil connector. Measure distance for each wire + 1". Used this crimp block that came with wires for stripping cut. Spin the wire and ...

img_20200722_crimp3.jpg

img_20200722_spw assembled.jpg

Would I recommend these wires: NO
*Usually I slide the boot on the wire before crimping on the terminals. The shiny coating on the wire interacted with the dielectric grease and with white lithium grease to make the boot stick to the wire like glue after sitting a few minutes. I ended up bending the 90° connectors and installing the boots after crimp. Then bending them back to 90°.
*Metal connector at spark plug is small and does not make a distinctive click when engaged with the spark plug.
*After I started the engine: boots 5 & 7 melted at spark plug despite factory heat shields in place.

7/16 thread bolt heads hit torque converter cover. Grinder to decrease height of bolt head from .26" to .19", which is height of original 5/16" thread bolt heads.

Oil Pump driveshaft rotates Clockwise about 45° when installed. Also the tab at the end of the distributor drive shaft is about 2 hours off the rotor position. OPDS at 10:30 gives rotor at 12:30 as viewed from right side of car. Trial fitting below, had to adjust

#5 installed new 90° Accel boot. Sock has a metal ring at boot end.

Oil color after an hour of run time. Have to change after 500 miles. Looks too good to change, but break-in oil allows wear that you don't want after 500 miles.
IMG_20200802_115326ps.jpg

Intake problems. Playdo clearance test before
IMG_20200802_164836 playdo before.jpg

After. Zero clearance. Should not have bought Edelbrock 7193. Marko has no clearance issues 7193 with his 70 300, but I guess Fury hood is contoured differently. Considering Edelbrock 2191 or a factory intake. Edelbrock is probably way to go unless I want to pay $650 for extrude hone.

IMG_20200804_171659 old mount removed.jpg

Incorrect RS over axle bracket in front. Correct LS over axle bracket in rear. Bought system through a shop in Lynchburg. Owner did not know to ask what RS over axle mount the car came with originally. Called Sam at TTi, will swap out at no charge. Excellent Customer Service.

Good workmanship and TTi is Made in USA.

Intake manifold is a setback, but I'm still making progress

Bench Bleed kit. Made from parts store lines and fittings. Easiest to "bench" bleed while wife is pushing pedal slowly forward and back and I'm watching for bubbles in the reservoir. 15 pushes and it was bled.
IMG_20200808_110729 bench bleed.jpg

Installed lines with 9/16 line wrench. Car ready for people to get under it.
IMG_20200805_145809 jacked.jpg

Easiest bleed i ever did. I had my wife on the pedal, 1 child on a ladder keeping the reservoir full, second child holding the bleed jar above the bleeder valves and dumping the jar in a tub when it got full. We did 3 jars at both right brakes and 1 jar at both left.
Just open the valve a quarter turn, wife push pedal down, close valve, wife releases pedal. Repeat Whole job done in an hour and forty-five minutes: remove old MC, install Carquest MCA 39862 master cylinder, tighten nuts 200"lbs, bench bleed, Bleed sequence RR, LR, RF, LF, completely replace all brake fluid. I paid off my family with dinner at Bojangle's. Best investment I've made in a while.

Got the missing exhaust part in Priority mail today, so I'm back in business on putting TTi together.

Very Important!!! Before ordering, you have to see whether the 2 mounting tabs on RS subframe are present. If not, order right side over axle bracket that looks like left side over axle bracket. Local supplier didn't know to ask me which bracket set up I had. TTI sent wrong bracket. TTI swapped brackets and my only cost was shipping back incorrect bracket. Still, that's an avoidable delay.

LS Rear Hanger for Tail pipe. Vertical part mounts to inside of subframe. Otherwise, tailpipe mounts too far to inside, doesn't center in subframe arch over axle. BTW: incorrect bolts come with TTI kit. I used 2.5". Anything longer would hit gas tank.
