Pulling up Stakes & moving to new stomping grounds

VERY nice home.... LOVE the kitchen, that island top is gorgeous.

Good luck with everything, I must have missed something along the way, I didn't see you were on disability.

thanks
I haven’t brought the subject up.

Its been a year for adjusting to a different style of life

Wow! That's great. My sister and brother in law have already reduced their price to a point where they'll be losing 60,000$. Still no bites.
I guess it’s where and timing of the sale

I know that the market here doesn’t climb very quickly
We had to make sure to buy the right home and location so we have a better chance of having a slow steady climb in value as long as we keep things in order

Congrats. Looks awesome. And welcome to the northeast Atlantic region. We will almost be neighbors, only with armed officials on both sides of the fence. And new Brunswick of course. They are odd, but nice folks. Hope it all goes better than planned.

Take the ferry to Yarmouth and don't worry about NB.

Sure, if I have an extra $200+ laying around for a one way single ferry ride...

The positive is that you save on gas burned to get to the same point & a bunch of hours driving.

There's a temperate climate? :wideyed:

It isn't Florida but better than some places.:p
It has a similar climate to the Niagara area that I'm from.
The potholes are likely from the same pothole making company only some are deeper LOL!

Yep, where - Edmonton - the market is flooded with new homes and condos, and plenty of older homes. Definitely a buyers market. Timing - couldn't be worse. They put it on the market just before the virus showed up. And to top it off, it was supposed to be their "forever" house, so they've been dumping money into it for the past five years. Now, they're not going to be able to get much, if any of that money back. They'll be fine. Glad things went smoothly for you.

The ferry didn't run have a single run last year despite the provincial government providing millions in subsidy. Just a taste of the politics around here. Decisions made here make the Trudeau government look like a group of Rhodes scholars!
Regardless, welcome again to Nova Scotia, The valley is very nice in the summer, normally sort of a mix between tourists, retired folks, and Air Force Personnel from CFB Greenwood. Not sure of your definition of temperate though.
As far as NB goes, nice people with an awesome car show, the Atlantic Nationals in Moncton in early July. We have had the 68 Monaco up the last couple of years. Maybe we will see your convert up there if the show is still a go.

Hopefully the market will recover
I know a Edmonton has been a real estate roll coaster since I can remember
I wonder if they would consider renting it out

Looking forward to this
This year is a wash out though
Too many things on the go
Plus my back is giving me more trouble again

Unfortunately, that appears to be the only realistic option at this time. They're going to give it a bit longer and see. I sure hope it sells. It'll be a burden on them, and I'll be the lucky guy dealing with the renter's! Anybody want to buy a house!

Hey Congrats Tommy! She looks like a very nice homestead!

With a shop like that, you could always install a lift later on!

Hi Mario.

I could but it's a 8.5' ceiling. I was thinking that a scissor lift would be a good compromise.
I'm done though for any work.

My son on the other hand is happy to make use of it LOL!

I don't know if you are familiar with it, but if you like excellent German food, there is a great little (blink and you'll miss it) place on the #3 between Mahone Bay and Lunenberg. They are only seasonal (closed for the winter).
