Loosing break fluid

My 65 New Yorker power drum booster could use refreshing. It kinda looks like it twist/locks together. Is this something a diy could rebuild? Where can I get the kit?

@mopar440 the booster shown in your picture is not correct for the year of your car, and if I were in your place I'd upgrade to discs or at least a dual circuit master cylinder and a rebuilt booster anyhow, but that's a whole other topic for a different thread.
 
Here is my booster. The brake kits is an SSB, so not sure if the booster is mopar or not... thoughts?

I'm not that familiar with the different boosters to identify that particular one except to note that it's not the generic GM booster with MC that seems to be common with some of the conversions. That's a good thing. No bastardization.

The master cylinder does look like your typical Mopar disc brake piece, so sourcing one is going to be easy. Should be able to walk into any decent store and ask for a disc bake MC for a '68 Chrysler and be on your way.

@stubs300 made a good point for inspecting the area around the wheel cylinder (although we know it's a disc brake conversion and not drums) and since it's the rear portion of the cylinder, we know it's the front brake circuit. I would do that first. Pretty easy to pull a wheel and check without any other disassembly.

While it's better to rebuild/replace the booster, I have seen where the MC has leaked into the booster and the booster has not really suffered for it. Some people are going to disagree with that, but I think I might just change the MC (after double checking everything else) and see what happens with the booster. You won't have a catastrophic failure if something happens with the booster. Just an opinion based on my experience and YMMV.
