My uncle had one exactly like it, except it was all white.

Slant six, auto....was a great little wagon.

If it's obviously a '63 and the title says '62, I'd be matching the numbers up to make sure I had the right title before plunking down any cash.

@Newport 66

So, another Dart Wagon guy was there looking, too. He noted serial plate by driver door was remounted and the one inside was missing. Has a 72 slant 6. Paint is dull. Needs exhaust (see pics). Pans on driver side are holed. They put metal over them but no rust mitigation on the holes. Not rusted out.
Electrical-dim headlight and tail light. Likely poor grounding. (See pics)

Final batch.
Thank you for looking it over!!!! I think ill shoot him an offer, all he can do is say no!
good luck!

He said it was driving. He parked it and hasn’t ran it since so I did not hear the engine running. He said, “it ran when I parked it “ lol.

This one is very close to me.

they state title says 62. Wonder how DMV screwed that up.

If it's obviously a '63 and the title says '62, I'd be matching the numbers up to make sure I had the right title before plunking down any cash.

Here's how that happened:

The '63 models arrive in showrooms, starting in Aug-Sept 1962. Ezeikiel Q. Muckenfutz, Jr. buys a new '63 Dart wagon for the family in October 1962. Goes to get the tag and title. Many states, up through 1969, titled a NEW car as the year it actually sold in, not the model year. Another '63 Dart may languish on the lot until May 1964. So, it gets titled as a 1964 Dart.

So, this is how you get a (1962) 1963 Dart wagon. Happened not in all states, but quite a few.
